Schnitzer is one of Germany's leading producers of organic and gluten-free products. In 2006, it launched the Schnitzer Bräu brewery, which produces Schnitzer Bräu organic, gluten-free and vegan-friendly beer made with millet, as well as a low-alcohol millet-lemon mixed beer - both of which are certified Kosher Pareve (excluding Passover). Because millet is naturally gluten-free, it's ideal for those who suffer from celiac disease or gluten intolerance; what's more, it's also great for the environment as it's drought-resistant and requires little-to-no fertilisers or pesticides.
